Immersive AR Art Project - A Network of Installations
About
Springs of Love is an immersive augmented reality (AR) art project that merges contemporary art and digital technology to create an emotional and interactive experience.
The work takes the form of a virtual, abstract and 3D animated sculpture of love, accessible on your mobile phone via a QR code, inviting presence, reflection, and empathy.
Designed as a symbolic meeting point of peace and love, the project responds to today's anxieties by encouraging empathy, care, and shared presence. Through augmented reality, the sculpture invites viewers to slow down, move around the work, explore different perspectives, and experience a moment of collective contemplation in real-world selected locations.
The project was conceived by visual artist Gabi von Seltmann in collaboration with digital artist Popesz Csaba Láng from Elektro Moon Vision, produced by Photon Foundation, in partnership with XR creator and web-based immersive creative coder Antonio Serrano Martín.

Gabi is an interdisciplinary artist, art producer, and animator. Her art seeks to address questions of memory, identity, and the significance of historical events. Gabi also believes that art placed in public spaces has the greatest potential to become accessible to everyone. It moves our imagination, encourages reflection, positive action, and provides hope.
Popesz Csaba Láng (Elektro Moon Vision)
Founder of Elektro Moon Vision together with artist Elwira Wojtunik, is a digital artist collective deeply rooted in digital technologies. They create artworks and experiences in the form of interactive multimedia installations, immersive and extended reality art projects (AR, VR, XR), expanding the boundaries of digital tools in the field of visual art. Their works have been presented at significant international digital media art exhibitions and events around the world.

Is an XR creator and web-based immersive developer. Working within the framework of nowar, he acted as the integrator and lead programmer of this artistic experience, shaping the technical and interactive structure that unifies art, technology, and presence into a shared immersive form.

Soundtrack & Poetry
The installation's Brussels and Theodora soundtrack features the voice and poetry of Urszula Honek, an award-winning Polish poet and writer, whose lyrics add an intimate and lyrical dimension to the experience.
Dr. Branko Metzger-Šober (Project Curator)
Professor and art historian, focuses his research on the history of modern art, cultural-institutional practices, and urban cultural history. His work explores the interwar cultural and political context, the history of galleries and museums, and the architecture of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Visit
The Spring of Love AR sculpture of love can be experienced in a specific physical location, where viewers gather around a shared virtual form. We are already working on several new locations. The premiere of the project was in Brussels; the first permanent location is at Theodora in Motovun. Motovun / Montona is a medieval hilltop town in the heart of Istria, known for its ancient stone walls, narrow streets, and rich cultural heritage.

While the installation itself can only be experienced in person in Motovun, Croatia, the mobile app allows you to explore its story from anywhere in the world. Through the app, you can discover the location, learn about the vision behind the project, meet its creators, and acknowledge the partners and sponsors who have helped bring it to life.
The app also serves as a gateway to the growing Springs of Love network, connecting visitors with the people, places, and initiatives that are shaping this global movement for creativity, and conscious living.

Springs of Love found in Brussels one of its first international platforms thanks to the invitation and support of the Polish Institute Brussels. From the earliest stages of the project, the Institute facilitated connections with local cultural partners and encouraged the development of this innovative dialogue between art, technology and public space.
Krystyna Połtowicz, Deputy Director of the Polish Institute Brussels and curator of international cultural projects, was the first person to invite the creators of Springs of Love to present the project in Brussels. Recognising its unique potential to connect people through art and new technologies, she actively supported its development and visibility within the city’s cultural landscape. Brussels thus became one of the first milestones in the journey of Springs of Love, paving the way for future presentations across Europe.
Tanya and Jos Schmitt
After international careers in finance, Tanya and Jos Schmitt chose Istria as their home, inspired by its layered history, atmosphere, and cultural richness. As entrepreneurs, travellers, philanthropists, and long-time supporters of the arts, they have dedicated themselves to creating places of encounter, inspiration, and authentic experiences.
